About Attentive Pet Care
I have worked with animals since leaving school and have worked in all different environments from rescue centres, boarding kennels, groomers and most recently for the last 8 years I have been working as a Veterinary Auxiliary at Fitzpatrick Referrals Neurology and Orthopaedic Centre. Here I care for and look after the animals whilst they are recovering from surgery ensuring they receive the best possible care and attention required. I also assist the Physiotherapists in their rehabilitation centre, this involves making sure the animal is comfortable, calm and relaxed whilst they carry out the exercises
I understand that trusting someone to care and look after your much-loved pet is a big decision and one that should not be taken lightly, that is why I want to always give assurance and peace of mind that when your pet is with me they will be treated and loved like one of my own. To help build that trust between us, before I take our pet out on their adventure I will arrange a free of charge home visit to meet you both and introduce myself, this gives us both a chance to find out about one another and lets me hear all about your pet’s personality.
At Attentive Pet Care we offer a home from home walking service where I only do individual walks, or more if they’re from the same household, this means your pet has my full attention and love. I will only ever walk your pet on the lead, tailored to each dog needs so whether that is a fast paced walk for those lively dogs that need to burn off the energy or a slow stroll for the more senior dog.
We will collect your dog from their home and will be with me and walked for a minimum of 1 hour. We will go on different adventures, exploring the countryside and woodlands; I am a member of the National Trust so will be visiting lots of interesting places to sniff and explore to keep their minds active. After our walk I shall return them back safely to their home, make sure they are settled and follow their usual routine as when you leave them

We cover a 5 mile radius of Ash Vale but are very flexible so please do contact us if you are outside of this area so we can discuss further.
All dogs must be up to date with flea and tick protection. Updated with all jabs and wear an identification Disc as this is a legal requirement.
Julie will go above and beyond what you expect from a dog walker and treats your dog like they are one of her own, what makes Julie stand out from the rest is that she will only walk one dog at a time so you know your dog is getting all of her attention which I know he loves!
