About Lead the Way Dog Care
Lead the Way Dog Care provides a professional but personal service for your much-loved dogs in the Doncaster area. We offer a range of services at low prices and will care for your dog as if it was our own. With our FREE Meet-and-Greet session, we guarantee to find the best way to care for your furry family member.
My name is Denise and I am the founder of Lead the Way Dog Care. After 24 years of working in a private nursery setting, I’ve decided to pursue my main passion in life: working with dogs.
Having grown up with dogs, it was only natural that they would become an important part of my life and become a welcomed addition to my family. The joy that a dog can bring to a family is priceless and I would never be without one: we currently have Cassie (a German Shepherd) and a puppy that is set to join us soon.
Aside from my own dogs, I enjoy spending time working with them - I am a volunteer at the RSPCA where I carry out house visits for people who want to adopt a dog and help with fund raising events throughout the year. I have been on a range of courses including dog psychology, dog first aid, puppy training classes and dog pursuit classes. All this experience is invaluable when working with other dogs, especially my son’s dog Pippa who is deaf and partially blind.

Dog Walking
Whether it be 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour, Lead the Way Dog Care will walk your dog. We will arrive at a time arranged with yourself and make sure your dog settles down happily at home at the end of the walk. A short feedback form will be left with information of how the walk went.
£6 for 30 minutes £8 for 45 minutes £10 for 1 hour
Pop-in Service
For 15 minutes, Lead the Way Dog Care will pop-in and check on your dog. Whether it is for food, water or just a fuss, we will arrive at your chosen place and see to your dog’s needs. A short feedback form will be left with the information about the visit.

Dog Sitting
Sometimes, events happen and dogs just aren’t allowed to attend but you don’t want them to be alone. Here at Lead the Way Dog Care, we will come to your home and sit, play and have an enjoyable time with your dog.
£10 per hour
Pet Transport
At Lead the Way Dog Care, we appreciate it can be difficult at times to get your pet to a particular destination. With this service, we will transport your pet to where it needs to be, look after them and deliver them home safely.
