Larks In The Parks - money CAN buy you love.
My name is Fiona and I love all animals and especially dogs. I didn't realise the depth of this affection until I decided to finally get my own dog eleven years ago. His name is Raffles and he is the most loved dog in the world.
I started my pet care service in 2016, after I was made redundant from a job that I really enjoyed, working with refugees. I decided to do something equally fulfilling, combining my love of animals with helping people. I know from experience how hard it is to go out to work and leave your pet, but I can give them the care and attention they need and deserve; so when you return home, you know that they've had a great day.
I have lived in and around Stockwell for most of my adult life; I love it here and enjoy feeling part of the community. Since having Raffles, I have become friends with many other dog owners, and I understand the challenge of balancing a busy London life with the joy and responsibility of dog ownership.
However I can help you achieve this balance. I know how much Raffles means to me - I wouldn't let just anyone look after him - and so I know how much your dog means to you. I would want Raffles to be cared for and to be given special attention by someone I can trust and who I know has my dog's best interests at heart. So, this is more than just a job for me; I get a huge satisfaction from making dogs and their owners happy.
Although, some dogs enjoy going out in a huge doggy gang, this is not the case for all. My walks are limited to a maximum of five dogs at a time, so that they each get lots of attention and care. I will group the dogs according to temperament and, obviously, how well they get on with each other. They have a lot of fun being and playing together, building up trust between us all; it can be a real joy both for me and the dogs. This will be discussed at our first meeting, before there is any obligation to engage my services - your dog and I both need to get to know each other, and we can talk about how I might be able to help you.
I am fully insured, DBS checked and trained in canine first aid, so you can be sure that your dog will be in safe hands. Photos and text updates can also be sent to reassure you that they are happily enjoying their larks in the park with me.
I also offer a pop-in service for puppies, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and other small pets. This includes feeding, cuddles*, grooming*, cleaning litter trays, cages or tanks and whatever other help you may need.
I can honestly say I have never enjoyed my work as much as I do now; although I have to charge for my services - Raffles and I need to eat, after all - I aim to keep my prices at a level where you can afford the peace of mind that your pet is getting the love, care and attention that you would give it yourself.
I look forward to meeting you, and your dog, cat, hamster, rabbit, fish, guinea pig.....
