About House & Hound
Hi, I am Rob Brown.
I am available for house/pet sitting, ad-hoc walks and pop-ins in the Lechlade and surrounding areas.
A bit about me!
After 23 years in the Army, and since leaving the forces I have been a contractor travelling all over the country and Europe. But my passion has always been animals, especially dogs. I have decided that now is the time that I should follow my passion. I am DBS cleared, as well as having a number of other clearances due to my contracting roles, I am also fully insured and have just completed my refresher dog first aid course.

Please note during periods of hot weather when a lunchtime walk is not possible as it would put your dog at risk, we can always switch to a pop-in to let your pooch out in the garden for a toilet break, and spend some quality time with them, again happy to discuss.
- Initial Get To Know Visit - To see if you like me or your pet(s) like me! - Free (depending on location, if not local mileage charged at 45ppm)
- If you wish to proceed, we can then arrange separate visit to become familiar with your house, complete all necessary paperwork and pick up keys, this will be a charge of £10.00 (again depending on location, if not local mileage would be an additional charge of 45ppm)
- Dog walking for 60 minutes - £15.00
- Dog walking those that might not need so long and our golden oldies, 30 minutes - £10.00
- Additional dogs from the same household half fee, up to a maximum of 3 dogs
- Individual walking for those dogs who are unable to socialise 30 minutes £15.00
- Pop-in service for dogs, cats or rabbits etc. £10 / £12 depending on length of time required (30 or 45 minutes)
- House/Pet sitting £35 a day up to a maximum of 12 hours and £60 overnight/24 hours (e.g. 2 dogs & 1 cat or 1 dog & 2 cats), charges would increase dependent on the number of animals requiring care and if you pet(s) are not able to be left at points during the day, please ask for further information.
For all house/pet sitting bookings a deposit of 25% would be required - cancellation up to 48 hours prior to booking, the remaining 75% to be paid at the end of the booking. Invoice/Receipted Invoice would be issued.
* We reserve the right to amend prices, prior notification of 4 weeks would be given.
