About Care & Cuddles Pet Services

Hi, I’m Andrea Murtagh, the proud founder of Care & Cuddles Pet Services, and a lifelong animal lover. Growing up surrounded by pets, I’ve always had a special bond with animals — so much so that my house is currently home to two Huskies, a Samoyed, a cat, and three children who share my passion for caring for all creatures great and small! Over the years I have also owned and cared for horses, rabbits, ginea pigs, chinchillas, chipmnunks, gerbils, rats, lizards, fish and birds.
At Care & Cuddles, I offer professional dog walking and pet-sitting services for dogs, cats, and all kinds of small animals, including birds, fish and reptiles. Whether your pet needs a one-off walk, regular visits, or overnight care, I’m here to provide personalised services that suit both your schedule and your pet’s needs.

What sets Care & Cuddles apart?
As a swimming teacher for young children, I know the importance of trust and safety. I’m fully DBS checked, and I bring that same level of care, patience, and attention to detail to my pet care services, even down to providing clients with video clips of their dogs on walks, so that you can rest easy knowing that your pet is in safe, loving hands. I'm also a qualified fitness instructor so I won't have any trouble keeping up with even  the most active of pets!
Additionally, I’ve completed several diploma courses in pet care, to ensure that I’m up to date with the latest in animal welfare and behaviour. I'm also trained in canine and feline first aid. This means I’m equipped to handle all sorts of pets with confidence and compassion.

My services include:

    •    Dog walking (one-off or regular), including video clips, photos and GPS tracking
    •    Pet sitting (overnight or daytime) in your pets' own home, and drop-in visits
    •    Care for a wide variety of pets, including cats, birds, reptiles, and small animals
    •    A free meet-and-greet consultation for all new clients to discuss your specific needs and get to know your pet
