About Walkies With Jane

My name is Jane and I have grown up with animals all my life." I have been walking my friends two gorgeous dogs (retriever/labrador cross) for several months now. They have just turned 1 year and" are very boisterous but love their walks as much as I do. I have worked in kennels in the past and just recently finished working at Cats Protection where I volunteered for 5 years." I am now taking the plunge to set up on my own and do something that I absolutely love and enjoy.

I am passionate about animals and love being outdoors - whatever the weather

Your pets are my priority and will always be treated with the same" love and care" that I give mine.

Please contact me for a "Meet and greet" in the first instance. This is absolutely free and the purpose is to:

  • Meet your pet/s.
  • Establish their routines.
  • Gather the relevant information to carry out the required service
  • For you to ask me any questions or concerns you have.

Jane walks our German Shepherd Indy every week and he absolutely adores her! She started walking him regularly when I was at the last stages of being pregnant and couldn't manage many long walks with him and he loves it so much we have carried his walks on, we feel so relaxed popping out knowing he will be out having a great time with Jane. Highly recommend!!!!

Jane has been walking my lab/collie Bertie for the past couple of years and she is excellent. Bertie absolutely adores her. Having had a bad experience with a past dog walker, Jane renewed my faith and there is no-one I would trust more than her with Bertie. I was worried about finding someone to walk Bertie as he doesn't like other dogs very much but he is in very safe hands with Jane, who has always listened to my concerns and ensured she has worked with our needs. She has always been flexible with when Bertie needs walking and he enjoys his walks with her no end. To top it off, Jane is a genuinely lovely person. I cannot recommend her enough!

We have used Jane's services on the days when I work long hours. Jane is very professional and provides regular feedback from the walks. You can see that she loves animals and that what she does is her passion. My dog totally adores Jane - I know it from when we bump into Jane on the estate. I can recommend Jane's services and will happily use them in the future.

We used Jane to pop in and feed our cat whilst we were on holiday. Jane is reliable, professional and extremely trustworthy. It is clear that the wellbeing of our cat was her top priority. She sent us regular photos and updates during our holiday so we knew he was very content. I will definitely use Jane again, nothing is too much trouble.

Jane has been walking our 2 Labradors since the spring and I can say she has not only been very reliable but also trustworthy. My boys love her.

Dog Walking:

  • £12.00 per hour.

  • 2 dogs from the same household - £18.00

  • Group or solo walks.

 Pop-in Services:

  • 1 visit - 30 mins - £8 -  includes: Feeding, changing fresh water, cleaning litter trays and 20 minutes of fuss time.
  • 2  visits per day - £15
  • I am happy to administer medication as long as I have been shown the correct procedure.

Pet Sitting/House Sitting: 

  • From £20 - Tailored to individual animals needs please ask for more details. I try to do my best to keep to the animals routine.
  • Some of the general services include: Dog walking, pet brushing, feeding, fresh water, cleaning bowls, lots of fuss, putting out bins, pick up mail, watering plants. 

Pet Taxi

  • From £15.00. (Local trips to Vet etc)
