Petal Paws have been fab with my whippet, Burt.He's a young rescue doggie with some quite complex behavioural issues,but my dog walker Amanda has been brilliant dealing with him and he LOVES his daily walks!Amanda is very professional, always easy to get in touch with,and sends me pics of Burt running around and refusing to look at the camera(via WhatsApp).She is also flexible when I need to make any adjustments on walkies times or length.When I first got in touch Amanda and Louise came round to visit Burt in his home environment,asked lots of questions to make sure they had all the information they needed,and even took him for a test walk locally.I highly recommend Petal Paws and they get a big doggie paws up from Burt too.

Petal Paws looked after our cat recently when we were on holiday. As Pushkin, our Maine Coon, is getting very old now and has some health issues, we felt it would be best for her to stay at home when we were away.Our consultation visit was very thorough and professional to talk through Pushkin's needs. It was clear that Petal Paws are genuinely very kind and caring and have an affinity with animals-infact Pushkin took to Amanda & Louise straight away which is unusual for our rather shy Lady Pushkin.
We usually have a family member helping out with Pushkin when we go away, but this year we had to make alternative arrangements and we were quite anxious because of her age and health, but once we talked with Petal Paws I was confident that she was in safe hands. I,m so glad we found Petal paws so we could go away without worrying too much. .As soon as we walked through the door we knew Pushkin had been well cared for because she looked so settled and content. Infact we were thrilled at how well she looked and coming home to a happy pussy cat. We were left with a report on how Pushkin got on during the week which was lovely .I would highly recommend petal Paws for the very sensitive , individual and expert care they provide and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you so much for looking after Colin while we were on holiday. I know he is a small animal but he is very much loved by our family. 5 stars are not enough to show how truly blown away I am by the attention to detail and care that Amanda and Louise gave to our cats whilst we had our two weeks away. I have just got home this evening and found two very happy, relaxed cats which we've never had before having been away for so long- we've used catteries and other cat sitters in the past and always had two stressed little kitties who don't seem to have had the level of love and play in our absence. We were reassured by regular WhatsApp updates from Petal Paws to show their mischief whilst we were away, and came home to a lovely written debrief of their time in the house without us. It was Dexter's birthday whilst we were on holiday, and he was treated to tasty dreamies and spoiled with attention which we were so pleased about. I would highly recommend Petal Paws for cat sitting, and will definitely be using them again in the future!. Thank you both so much, from the bottom of our hearts. Louise lives in Pudsey and will cover surrounding areas including Farsley, Horsforth and Bramley.

Canine Behaviour input is currently available city wide in Leeds.

Petal Paws offer a free, no obligation, consultation in your home to meet you and your pets and discuss your requirements

DOG WALKING :- I offer small group walks with a maximum of 3 other dogs with suitable temperaments. This ensures each dog is given the attention they deserve. Additionally, it cuts down on time spent in the vehicle during collections and drop offs. For added travel comfort, your dog is individually crated in an air conditioned vehicle. He/she will be left towel dried with fresh water.

PUPPY VISITS:-include feeding and fresh water,garden toilet breaks,cleaning up any accidents,giving any vet prescribed medication and of course plenty of puppy play and cuddles.Once your puppy has had his/her vaccinations I take them for short walks to help with socialisation, and when old enough they are welcome to join a small walking groups. I will support and advise on correct exposure to a variety of experiences (using only postive behaviour approaches) to help your pup receive the vital input they require in their formative first months. This is important to help them develop into happy, well balanced dogs.

DOG HOME VISITS:-ideal for elderly dogs or those recovering from illness or injury. Visits include feeding and fresh water provision, garden toilet breaks or a short walk, giving vet prescribed medication and, of course, plenty of TLC.

CAT/KITTEN VISITS:- include feeding and fresh water provision,cleaning litter trays and giving vet prescribed medication. Cuddles and playtime given according to the individual cat's wishes.

DOG BEHAVIOUR INPUT:- I am a qualified canine behaviourist and will provide a thorough assessment of your dog's problem behaviour together with a comprehensive plan of action to address the issue (s).
