I am a dog owner (and cat!) and understand how hard it can be for working families to own a dog. The guilt of leaving them 'home alone' can put many people off dog ownership, but a caring dog walker can be the answer to any problems....as well as protecting your sofa from a bored, frustrated pooch pal!!
Muddy Paws has been walking and caring for some lovely Chester based pooches since January 2014...as well as the odd cat, guinea pig and rabbit!! Myself Jan, and my helpers, Anne and Ray, take groups of UP TO 4 dogs on adventures to local parks, woodlands, riverbanks and fields, where they socialise, play, runaround (and tire themselves out!) and have LOTS of fun. We also have our own beautiful secure paddock where the gang feel totally at home (it's theirs, and theirs alone..!!) for days of bigger group play, or just a peaceful play with no cyclists, picknickers, fishermen, small children and other doggy hazards (!) to contend with!!
As a dog owner of a rescued (Dog's Trust) crossbreed Toffee from a small pup, I have hands on experience of dog ownership. The ways they have...early training, barking at the door knocking, chasing cats (or scared of cat's if it's Toffee!), sniffing dubious substances during walks and finding EVERY muddy puddle...these are all dog characteristics that I am well used to.
I am more than happy to feed cats and other small animals in the home over holidays. I have always found my own cats happier in the home during my own holidays and, as long as someone comes in to feed, clean litter trays, play and cuddle, your absence need not be too stressful for them, and other small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, fish (no cuddling though!) and hamsters.
