About Aunty Helen's Pet Services
I have always had a passion for animals and grew up with cats as a child." Although I wanted a career in the animal world, events took a different path and I made my profession as a secretary.
Eight years ago I contacted my local boarding kennels to see if they wanted any help." They wanted dog walkers and the rest as they say is history." Although I was only there once a week I decided that being a secretary was not fulfilling me as it used to as I wanted to spend most of my time at the kennels.
After careful consideration I decided to change my life and I therefore set up Aunty Helen's Pet Services nine years ago.
I had over the last twenty plus years been owned by two cats, four chinchillas and two dogs.
My current dog is a Staffie who came in to kennels at 8 years as they did not want her anymore. She is nearly 13 now. No one told her she is not a puppy anymore, a beautiful girl who makes me laugh, a cuddle monster and a pure joy to have around. Seniors are the best!
As I single person I know what it is like to trust someone with your loved one(s), they are not just a pet but family and as "Aunty" I will treat them like they are my own until your return.
I am fully insured and CRB checked, honest and reliable.

For one dog
£9 for 30 minutes £11 for an hour
For two dogs
Pop in Service for Cats/Dogs/Puppies
(based on up to 3 pets in household)
One visit a day for 30 minutes £9
One visit a day for 1 hour £15
Two visits a day for 30 minutes £18
Two visits a day for 1 hour £30
If more than 3 pets in the household I charge £1 extra per pet.
Small animals
£6 a visit. This includes cleaning, feeding and providing water to your rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla etc. This is based on you having one/two small animals. An extra charge will be added if you have more.
My first consultation with yourself will be free. I know each client has different needs and requirements and I am more than happy during our consultation to discuss these.
Bank Holidays and the Christmas/New Year period are double price.
I offer the following services :-
Dog Walking - last walk 5.00pm
Pop in home visits for your cat, dog, puppy, rabbit, guinea pig or other small animal.
Lab, Cocker Spaniel, Tibetan Terrier and Lhaso Apso
She walked 2 dogs at a time at correct times of day.
