NarpsUK was delighted to hold its first stand at Discover Dogs this year 10th/11th November 2012 and it was a great success.
The atmosphere was exciting and vibrant; there was an abundance of well-groomed beautiful dogs strolling around showing off their brilliance. Some 14 NarpsUK members visited the stand to say hi and shared their stories from having an initial idea that they just might be able to make themselves a business doing something they loved (working with animals) to the current time where some are trying to find helpers to take the burden off the workload.
We divided the stand into three sections, one housing information and leaflets about NarpsUK.
Next we were displaying posters and giving away Yellow Ribbons to promote our new campaign ‘Yellow Dog UK’ who are promoting and creating awareness that 'some dogs need space' www.yellowdoguk.co.uk
The final part of the stand was devoted to www.findalocalpetsitter.co.uk which is a new website dedicated to pet owners searching for pet sitters and dog walkers where they can find a local pet sitter or dog walker via a post code search facility.
The team of four staff worked hard all weekend answering questions and raising awareness.
Marilyn Lewis the founder of NarpsUK said we hope to attend the show again next year.
